Gerchamp Modular Data Center Solutions for AI Infrastructure

Bring High-Density Compute to Available Power and Limited Space

For AI infrastructure, power and space are often interrelated constraints.

Some industrial parks, manufacturing facilities, energy sites, communications sites, or remote areas may already have available power resources, yet lack the space and infrastructure required to deploy a traditional data center. Modular data centers can integrate IT space, power, and cooling infrastructure into more compact modules and deploy them according to site conditions.

Gerchamp’s Modular Data Center architecture is designed for these scenarios. It can be used for edge, on-premises, behind-the-meter, and other computing environments with limited power or space, helping transform existing infrastructure into usable AI computing capacity.

Why Choose Gerchamp for Modular Data Center Infrastructure?

Gerchamp’s Modular Data Center is not a single data center container product, but an integrated solution built on multiple data center infrastructure technologies.

Gerchamp’s proprietary liquid cooling, nickel-zinc batteries, battery monitoring systems, and DCIM technologies are all independently developed by the company and carefully designed to work together as an integrated infrastructure platform, enabling more effective control over performance, integration, and customization.

By designing these infrastructure components around the same Modular Data Center architecture, on-site integration work between different systems can be reduced, and power, cooling, backup power, and monitoring can better match AI computing requirements.

For high-density AI infrastructure, the core of this integrated approach is not just shortening the construction process, but enabling data center infrastructure to adapt more flexibly to available power, limited space, and actual computing requirements.

Factory-Integrated Design for Faster Data Center Deployment

Traditional data centers typically require substantial on-site civil construction, MEP installation, piping, and system integration work. For projects that need to deploy AI infrastructure quickly, this approach can lead to longer project timelines and complex on-site coordination.

Gerchamp Modular Data Center uses BIM-engineered factory prefabrication. Electrical systems, piping, and liquid cooling systems can be integrated and tested at the factory, after which the modules are transported to the site for connection and commissioning.

500kW All-in-One Modular Data Center

The 500kW All-in-One is a factory-integrated modular system introduced by Gerchamp. It integrates IT space, power distribution, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, UPS, Nickel-Zinc battery backup, BMS, and DCIM into a single module.

The system can support: 5 OCP racks, or 4 NVIDIA NVL72 racks, and capacity can be further expanded by adding modules.

This architecture is better suited for projects that want rapid deployment, standardized infrastructure, and gradual expansion according to actual computing requirements.

For larger-scale AI computing deployment, Gerchamp also offers the 3.5MW Modular Kit, which can be configured according to project requirements. Compared with the 500kW All-in-One, this solution is aimed at larger-scale modular deployment, but the specific architecture and configuration will be determined according to project requirements.

Where Can Modular Data Centers Be Deployed?

Modular Data Center is not limited to traditional data center campuses; its modular characteristics make it suitable for different power, space, and deployment conditions.

AI Training and Inference For AI training, inference, and accelerator-based workloads, the modular architecture can provide the power and liquid cooling infrastructure required for high-density computing.

Edge AI and On-Premises Computing For manufacturing, communications, and other scenarios requiring real-time data processing, AI compute can be placed closer to where data is generated, reducing reliance on centralized data centers.

Industrial and Remote Sites Industries such as oil & gas, mining, and manufacturing may need to process large amounts of operational data at remote or industrial sites, and these locations do not necessarily have traditional data center infrastructure.

Modular data centers can deploy computing infrastructure according to on-site power and space conditions.

Behind-the-Meter and Power-Adjacent Deployment For behind-the-meter, renewable sites, and other scenarios with available or underutilized power resources, Modular Data Center can combine AI compute with existing power infrastructure to deploy the required data center infrastructure within limited space.

Deploy AI Infrastructure Where Power and Space Are Available

AI infrastructure is changing the way data centers are deployed.

As computing demand grows and traditional data center construction models struggle to respond quickly, Modular Data Center can provide another deployment path for high-density AI computing through factory prefabrication, infrastructure integration, and modular expansion.

Gerchamp Modular Data Center uses the 500kW All-in-One as its core solution, integrating power, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, UPS, Nickel-Zinc battery backup, BMS, and DCIM into modular infrastructure, and can scale to larger-scale modular deployments according to project requirements.

Its core philosophy is not just “making the data center into modules,” but:

Bring High-Density Compute to Available Power and Limited Space.

For enterprises seeking to deploy AI infrastructure in limited space, with existing power, or in non-traditional data center scenarios, Gerchamp Modular Data Center provides an infrastructure solution that connects power, cooling, compute, and deployment.
